Privacy Policy

This policy covers try.houstonwindle.com: the free Meta ads assessment and the paid Meta ads agent ($499/mo, cancel anytime), operated by HTOWN LLC (Houston Windle) at houstonwindle.com.

What we collect

  • Account email, if you create one.
  • Meta OAuth tokens and the permission scopes you approve when you connect your Meta account.
  • Ad account IDs, Page IDs, pixel IDs, and related identifiers from your connected Meta assets.
  • Creatives you upload: images, videos, headlines, and ad copy.
  • Setup questionnaire answers: your website, service area, customers, competitors, offers, pricing, and brand guardrails.
  • Research drafts generated from your website, your ads, and public sources.
  • Stripe billing identifiers: customer ID and subscription ID. We never see or store full card numbers.
  • Usage logs: pages visited, actions taken, and technical diagnostics that keep the product running.

Why we collect it

  • To run the free Meta ads assessment.
  • To operate the paid ads agent: researching your market, drafting creative, and creating and managing campaigns on your behalf.
  • To bill your subscription and provide support.
  • To improve the product: understanding which features get used and where things break.

Meta data

  • We access the Meta Marketing API and the public Ad Library only as authorized by you when you connect your account.
  • We do not sell personal data. We do not share your Meta data with other clients.
  • Access tokens are stored securely and used only to act on your behalf while your account is connected.
  • You can disconnect at any time from the app. Disconnecting stops further access. You can also revoke access from your Meta settings.

Payments

  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your card details; we never see or store full card numbers.
  • We store only the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers needed to check your plan status and open the billing portal.

Cookies and local storage

  • We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember your session. No advertising trackers are set by us.

Retention and deletion

  • We keep your data while your account is active. When you disconnect Meta, the OAuth tokens are removed.
  • To delete your account data, email hw@houstonwindle.com and we will remove your profile, creatives, research drafts, and identifiers, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

Third parties

  • Meta: advertising platforms and APIs that the service runs on.
  • Stripe: payment processing.
  • Hosting and database: Lovable Cloud and its underlying infrastructure.
  • Optional research tools such as Apify may process public web data (public pages, reviews, ads) as part of market research. These act as processors, not independent owners of your data.

Your rights (California and elsewhere)

  • You can request to know what personal information we hold, correct it, or delete it.
  • You can opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
  • We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Requests from public authorities

  • We review the legality of each request before disclosing any personal data obtained from Meta Platform Data.
  • We challenge or object to requests we believe are unlawful, overbroad, or invalid where we have a good-faith legal basis to do so.
  • We follow data minimization: we disclose only the minimum information necessary to comply with a valid request.
  • We document requests received, our response, the legal basis, and who was involved, and retain that documentation appropriately.

Children

  • This service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

  • If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
